Description: Sherrie called the printer and said,"Do you have that Walker Evans Book ? Go to page 47 and copy and print that for me please, same size as the orginal". Later the printer called and said, "Sherrie it's ready, do you want to come pick it up?". Sherrie says, " No, send it to the framer". Framer, frame it like you would an Evans photo. Framer calls and says, ready, you want to come get it?. No send it to the gallery. Gallery calls and says, Sherrie your new work is here. Sherrie goes says, "Good", signes the back and hangs it on the wall. She never even touched the work, and it was a copy of someone else. , but when you saw the exhibition it stunk of Sherrie Levine, Walker was gone ! The lesson is that an artists dosn't have to try and put something of themself in the work, it's always there ! ! A very radical breakthrough ! ! ( Edited by DAGGY)
