Jill is a Canadian living in the U.S., who has become quite well known for her almost illustrative photographs. They feel "other worldly". http://www.manipulator.com/
Diane Arbus (March 14, 1923 – July 26, 1971) was an American photographer, noted for her portraits of people on the fringes of society, such as transvestites, dwarfs, giants, prostitutes and ordinary working class citizens, in unconventional poses and settings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diane_Arbus
Kris is a local photographer, who we worked with on the VIDFEST campaign. He has some nice work and shoots rather prolifically. http://www.kriskrug.com/
Kristopher's images of industry are somewhat spooky and lovely. They all seem still, quiet, monolithic.
I studied with Mackenzie years ago at Emily Carr. She was always pleasant and hard-working. It's nice to see how that has paid-off for her. (Pictured is an image she created for Life Magazine.) http://www.mackenziestroh.com/mackenziestroh.html
Chris' images are of consumption gone bonkers. His are staggeringly powerful images that show the cost of our seemingly insatiable appetites. http://www.chrisjordan.com/
