Ok, Jewelles, 1st you have to have the image on your computer. (Sometimes I get them from Google Images, or Wikipedia: you search on the item or title & if a suitable image comes up, you right click on it and save it to a convenient folder.) Then, when or after you create a new entry on MF, click on "Add an Image", & follow the instructions on the pop-up window. Try it out, and let me know if you have any problems.

ps i still haven't figured out how to add the jacket cover...

i agree with the categories but i wanted to start the discussion! i know so many great books of poetry, fiction works, non-fiction, science fiction...ect. i am hoping to get a large list then to have it organized. i had great response on my facebook original posting...so hopefully this will only grow from here!

I kind of wish it the topic was better delimited, perhaps by category. Novels, say. Or Canadian authors.

I know this is a top 5 kinda list but my real goal was to create a concise list of Canadian reading! We have so many great authors here and so many other books that are written in Canadian context (historical or otherwise). I cannot wait to see what comes up on here (and hope there will be books i have never read and will soon fall in love with). see below for the beginnings of this list!
