This name, along with a lot of other traumatic things, have caused Chastity Bono a lifetime of angst and unhappiness. You have been rightfully worried for Chastity having a name she couldn't live with or live up to, but that's not all there has been to worry about...there has been so much to live with in her life that there is NO MORE Chastity Bono. First Chastity lived as a lesbian...but her gender confusion was so profound (along with a plethora of other issues in her life), that she decided she was, indeed, a man. She felt this was so much the case that she had sex reassignment surgery and Chastity is now Chaz Bono and lives life as a man. So, to update your statement that she hasn't changed her name...well SHE hasn't, but HE has! He is now Chaz Bono, a very large, unattractive MAN. RIP, Chastity Bono. I can't imagine how HE is happier now...have you seen HIM?
