Superbad

Deftly balancing vulgarity and sincerity, Superbad is an authentic take on the awkwardness of the high school experience.

Tell us what you think....

You
You

See, that's the thing. Taste is relative, so clearly the 149 other voters have different opinions from yours. But, that's why you're here, right? To educate the rest of us unwashed masses.

So get to it Siskel! Enlighten us! (Believe me... we're all waiting with baited breath.)

No sh!t sherlock.

The point is..... the fact that over 100 movies have been added to your stupid list and not one mention of Animal House. I shouldn't have to add it, it should been on it already....duh!

Posted 2 weeks ago

I hate to tell you this, buddy, but this is a group generated list. If you want Animal House on it, add Animal House to it. (I feel myself needing to say "duh!", but fear it would be rude to do so.)

Where is Animal House??

This list is a complete joke.

It's so hard to decide, but I think Superbad & Wedding Crashers are the ones who made me laugh the most.

I agree about Peter Sellers.

Any Peter Sellers Pink Panther movie always has me rolling. Clue is hilarious, too. If you haven't watched it recently, it's worth a revisit.

why not classics like flying high and naked gun?

Borat.

Jay, Weddings and Superbad are on it, but guess not in the top five

I rate new comedy on how many punchlines people are quoting... based on that how is Wedding Crashers not on the list? Or Superbad? Office Space rocks!!

Im sorry but elf is not even close to being #1. Think about ALL those movies out there that split your sides....elf was funny but not THAT funny....

I think superbad has to be up there in terms of just plain, dirty humor. Written by Seth Rogen of the 40 year old virgin when he was 12! Its the first movie Ive been to where people got up and applauded afterwards! Kudos to him for capturing teenage angst at its best!!!

Posted 2 years ago

40-year-old Virgin is the funniest movie in recent years, but Blazing Saddles is still one of the funniest movies ever. (And I did pull out Young Frankenstein just for Halloween.)

Posted 2 years ago

good call on a few of those movies for sure Elf should have been # 1, # 2 Forty year old virgin, # 3 any thing with Jim Carey love him and Will smith actting funny Men in Black was one of my faves. But to be fair I have not seen alot of movies on that list but i will rent them and catch up. thanks for the advice!!!

If your into Advertising then Crazy People with Duddly More is really funny.

Good point, euroskip. I busted a gut watching Borat, but not sure if I need to watch it again. It requires a certain level of 'endurance'.

Posted 2 years ago

big difference between the funniest movie the first time you saw it and the funniest movie that you can watch over and over.

something to keep in mind.
