KIK Cola was really the poor man\'s drink. Prices ranged from 10 cents for the 30 ounce up to 29 cents in its later years. Empty bottles and return was hell for the small stores that featured it at 8/$1.00. When we were kids, it was the soft drink ...competing with Eskimo Red, and Eskimo Nectar. Pepsi was too high priced(?) and CocaCola was for special occasions only. Canada Dry was for weddings ! .I feature KIK signs in most of my period paintings: people look at the paintings, but they see the KIK logo first. What a legacy!
