While everyone was busy playing Final Fantasy 3, I was playing this game. I don't even remember why I rented it from the store, because I had never really been into RPGs before this. The combat was solid & exciting - not like I'd seen my friends play on their RPGs. All of the characters were really unique and each had their own cool little story, and the multiple paths/endings were a cool first for me in a game. I think I connected a little bit with the whole "silent protagonist" thing Crono had going, too. It made me feel like it was actually ME, and not just someone I was controlling.
