Optimus Prime is and has been my hero since I was a kid. I cried when they killed him in the movie. After the Decepticons trash Autobot City, Prime finally shows up, and just blows them away. Then he has the ultimate showdown with Megatron! Even at the end when he's about to die (because stupid Hot Rod interfered), he keeps fighting! No matter how many times I watch this, it still feels like it did when I first saw it.
