Mark--if you haven't seen Three Colors, go and get them. They are wonderful and should be at the top of this list.
Theres way more series than I thought when i started this topic. I forgot about a bunch. Indiana jones, etc. Then theres some that havent even been mentioned that I forgot about, like James Bond movies, Rush Hour, Beverly Hills Cop, Might Ducks, etc etc.
