I seriously can't believe they made this movie in 1982. I mean, I know Star Wars came out before this and it had cool special effects for the time, but they NAILED futuristic Los Angeles in Blade Runner. This movie STILL looks awesome! Nothing is too overdone, the lighting in all the scenes is perfect, and the characters are all depressed or pissed off. The architecture is like a Tokyo wasteland with American touches, everyone's all tech-noired out, and the music by Vangelis is beautiful! When it rains in the future, it rains Blade Runner.
