I had never heard Burial before this album and picked it up at a friend's recommendation. It's perfect rainy day material! A lot of the main beats are stripped of their high freqs, so things sound kind of fuzzy and muddled at first, but he adds crisp glitchy highlights so counter. The melodies range from ominous to sad to longing, and are all anchored by wonderful warm sub bass.
