Dr Suess reached several generations with the "Cat in the Hat"...and without any modernizations through the years...a true classic. Really, we only know this is a cat because the title tells us that. Dr Suess' characters are so-o fantastical that we could imagine any one of them being just about any animal. Very imaginative!
