ER is a great medical series that really helped you get into true hospital situations and feelings. Several episodes of ER in the first few years are so powerful you may have to look away from the tv.

MASH is just about the greatest television show ever made, not only medical specific. It has everything imaginable including the best writers and cast a show ever had except maybe for taxi in its prime.

This show was awesome and a great theme song as well. Ed Begley Jr. claim to fame!
