Its high-supernatural speed can make it seem to be in more than one place at once, or to seem invisible as it moves in, strikes, and leaves the opponent before he can feel the blow. Scyther's wings are capable of flight, but this is rare; it is not a fast or an agile flier, and it is a better hunter on its own feet.

It was first introduced as a secret Pokémon in the first generation. Dragonite is one of the fastest flying Pokémon, and "The fastest flying Pokémon" as of the first generation. It has a small horn on the top of its head, along with slightly "S" shaped antennae. However, much like its previous forms, Dragonite still has a gentle and somewhat innocent appearance. Its diet consists mainly of berries, soft plants, and fruit, while it will occasionally eat crustaceans, like Corphish and Krabby.

Lugia is a legendary Pokémon that first appears in Pokémon Gold and Silver, appearing on Silver's boxart. Lugia, thought to be the guardian of the sea, resides deep in the ocean floor. It spends most of its time at the bottom of the sea due its tremendous power, which includes being able to topple houses just by flapping its wings and the ability to start storms that last for about forty days. It is only seen at the start of storms, and it often uses its abilities to calm them.

Snorlax is a gigantic Pokémon with a huge body somewhat in the shape of a bear. Snorlax has been said to weigh over 1/2 of a ton on the Pokémon cards. and a face with pointed ears that resemble a cat. It has a large off white colored belly, with the rest of its skin being either dark or bright blue. Snorlax is a very lazy creature which sleeps almost constantly; one of the few reason it will wake up is to eat.

Gyarados is the evolved form of Magikarp. It is a dramatically large change from Magikarp, going from a small fish to a long draconic, serpentine body. Gyarados tend to be very aggressive, and are powerful enough to destroy entire cities. They have a reputation for appearing where there is conflict, and shrivelling everything up with the Hyper Beam attack. Rampages like this have been known to last upwards of an entire month, and will not end until everything around them has been destroyed
