Sewing or stitching is the fastening of cloth, leather, furs, bark, or other flexible materials, using needle and thread. Its use is nearly universal among human populations and dates back to Paleolithic times (30,000 BC). Sewing predates the weaving of cloth. ( Edited by ryankoziel)

I have sewn clothes during most of my lifetime, starting with doll clothes and refining my skills to sew my very own clothes. It is a great way to save money AND get exactly what you want out of your clothing choice. I find sewing to be very rewarding and relaxing.
