It's easy to become so obsessed with the rush of the day. Sometimes this takes us away from the people and activities that mean the most to us. Let's take a moment to share a few of the times that have meant the most to us. ( Edited by karj )

Surviving white-water rafting on the Arkansas River in Colorado

Colorado's Rocky Mountains are the birthplace of more major rivers than any other mountain range in the U.S. Colorado's Arkansas River, the most popular river in America, provides a variety of rafting experiences ranging from ½ day trips to multi-day trips with camping, easy whitewater for family vacation adventures to challenging extreme adventures in Class IV+ whitewater.

The birth of my son

People had always told me that seeing a child born was a life-altering experience, but none of those remarks held a candle to the real event. The moment our son arrived, my life was better. I've never had my breath taken away like that. Pure joy!

Marrying my wife Amea

I always felt lucky just to have met Amea; so, when she agreed to marry me, I was very happy. Our wedding was a great way to celebrate our marriage. We had our families and so many great friends with us, and we just had a blast. It wasn't fancy or particularly traditional; we just enjoyed a great party! I'm very grateful for having met Amea, and that wedding was a more fun than I would have ever anticipated!

Kicking around Ness Lake with my family

My brother and I grew up at Ness Lake and spent a lot of time running around and riding our bikes in that area. I don't get there as much as I'd like, but every time I do, I'm amazed by how beautiful it is. Additionally, it's great to just see my brother and parents, and put away a bottle of wine!
