The 1960s decade refers to the years from the beginning of 1960 to the end of 1969. The term also refers to an era more often called The Sixties, denoting the complex of inter-related cultural and political trends in the west, particularly United States, Britain, France, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Spain, Italy, and West Germany. I wouldn't want to be a hippy but the early '60s, paired with the late '50s, was the golden age of advertising and, like the '50s, offered some really cool fashions and music.

The error of Mad Men. The 60's were a time of change, and a cool time when women were women, and men drank at work. Modern was in and peoples still dressed well.
