With all of the messages that we send on a day-to-day basis, it's awfully easy to make a mistake that's rather embarrassing. We've all hit "send" on that email a little early to find ourselves wishing we could pull it back. What are your worst typos or the worst ones you've seen? Not long ago I was in touch with someone about working with our creative firm. It turned out that our contact had left the company and the new person wasn't interested in our services. I sent a brief note thanking her for her time and ended with the comment, "Sorry for the inconvenence!" The spell-check caught my typo and corrected it (incorrectly). My email ended up reading, "Sorry for the incontinence!" (I felt like a bit of an idiot.)
instead of 'Anybody'

This one wasn't my typo, but I do think it's a painfully funny one. For some time I worked at a newspaper. One of the ad builders created an ad with the headline "Final registration" all in capitals. Unfortunately, he adjusted the letter-spacing to tightly, resulting in "Final" reading more like "Anal". I saw this for the first time over a decade ago and it still makes me laugh!
