Looking for that pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow? Saint Patrick's Day (Irish: Lá ’le Pádraig or Lá Fhéile Pádraig), colloquially St. Paddy's Day or Paddy's Day, is an annual feast day which celebrates Saint Patrick (circa 385–461 AD), one of the patron saints of Ireland, and is generally celebrated on March 17. Wear something green

Americans celebrate the holiday by wearing green clothing. Many people, regardless of ethnic background, wear green-colored clothing and items. Traditionally, those who are caught not wearing green are pinched.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. In my 20's it seemed like it always ended up in embarrassment anyway. Now I just think of it as amateurs night out, like New Years & Halloween!

I hate to admit this, but I haven't done anything to celebrate St. Patrick's day since I was in grade-school.
