Malaysia Airlines won 2 awards, the "Staff Service Excellence for Asia" and "World's Best Economy Class" at the 2010 World Airline Awards in Hamburg. The event saw more than 40 airlines from around the world receiving their awards from Skytrax, the organizer of the awards. The winners were selected by some 18 million air travellers from 100 different nationalities in a 10 month survey, between July 2009 and April 2010.
