Mr. PG (Mr. Prince George) is a sight to behold. Measuring 8.138 metres tall, the mascot is situated at the junction of highway 97 and highway 16. Originally created in 1960 as a symbol of the importance of the wood industry in the city, the wood version started to rot. As such a newer iteration was fabricated in 1983. It is now made of fiberglass and sheet metal. (I’m unsure of what this symbolizes.) ( Edited by karj)
