Of all the magazines out there—which have the best typography, grid structure, visual devices and photography? So many magazines forget about the underlying grid, visual hierarchy and quality of images—They can only be described as having visual diarrhea. Which are your top five recommendations? At the time it was the most original thing out there--completely cutting edge. Then every designer on the planet decided that they wanted to be David Carson. Apparently Flair was a beautifully designed mag from 1950. Flaunt Magazine has said that it drew a lot of their inspiration from Flair's design. http://www.lookonline.com/flair.htm
