Ryan, at the risk of picking an unwelcome fight, Rand did not change branding. He did contribute to developing both the concept (and many fine examples of ) corporate Identity. These days, "brand" and "branding" are used without any precision whatsoever, even by well-schooled professionals, usually to mean some fuzzy combination of "identity" and "positioning". Know what I mean?

That said, the man did change industries...

This guy changed our industry... Thats pretty influential, his logos changed branding...
