There have been a lot of great cyclists and a lot of famous cyclists but who do you think are the top 5 cyclists of all time? ( Edited by joshwritescopy )

Eddie Merckx

Edouard Louis Joseph, Baron Merckx (IPA: ['merks]) (born 17 June 1945, Meensel-Kiezegem, Vlaams Brabant, Belgium[1]), is a former Belgian professional cyclist. The French magazine Vélo called him "the most accomplished rider that cycling has ever known."[2] The American publication, VeloNews, called him the greatest and most successful cyclist of all time.[3] He won the Tour de France five times, won all the classics except Paris-Tours[4], won the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España, won the world championship as an amateur and a professional, and broke the world hour record. He won on the road and on the track.

Miguel Indurain

Miguel Ángel Indurain Larraya (born July 16, 1964, Villava, Navarre) is a retired Spanish road racing cyclist. He is best known for winning the Tour de France from 1991 to 1995, becoming only the fourth person to win the event five times, and the first to win five in a row.

Cadel Evans

Cadel Evans (born Katherine, Northern Territory 14 February 1977) is an Australian professional racing cyclist. In 2007, Evans became first Australian to win the UCI ProTour. He has the highest Tour de France finishes for an Australian, coming second in 2007 and 2008.
