A gap wedge is a type of golf club used to hit a shot with higher and shorter trajectory than a pitching wedge.
Lob Wedge, also called a Lofted Wedge or L-Wedge, is a golf club with a high amount of loft, usually 60 degrees, although the amount of loft ranges from 58 to 64 degrees, except for a few brands of super-high lofted clubs made by fringe companies. The lob wedge is the most lofted club in a golfer's bag. The Lob Wedge can be used from the fairway, the rough, or from bunkers; whenever the player needs to hit the ball high or stop the ball quickly on the green.
