Next topic: Best Quarterback right now?
There is only 2 active pitchers in MLB right now who could be considered as "in the top 5 of all time." Who are they? Who will make your list? If not them, who are the truly best of all time? ( Edited by webdesign )

Perhaps the best left handed in the history of the world. 6'11 inches of all arm and mean demeanor. What a presence. I watched him pitch more then 100 times and was just about always amazed. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/players/player.php?p=johnsra05
During this amazing career in the era of the long ball and only pitching in the toughest league in the history of baseball, the AL east, I believe him to be the greatest pitcher of all time. Some people may think that steroids or similar have something to do with it. I think no matter what may have been taken, it cannot give you the desire and talent to throw the right pitch at the right time. See his statistics through the link. http://www.baseball-reference.com/c/clemero02.shtml
What a fighter and if you looked at him you would say, who is that accountant? He looks nothing like a pitcher but his numbers and desire speak for themselves. http://www.baseball-reference.com/m/maddugr01.shtml
Would be cool for people like this to pitch in the AL east today to see how the do. However, for his time he won 417 games!!! Truly amazing. He wasnt a bad hitter either! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Johnson
One of the coolest names in pitching history. My dad always mentioned this guy and Mickey Mantle when speaking about the greatest pitchers. His numbers are incredible. Check out the video highlights of his career. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dm8oHYRS6hA
