Perhaps the best left handed in the history of the world. 6'11 inches of all arm and mean demeanor. What a presence. I watched him pitch more then 100 times and was just about always amazed. ( Edited by webdesign)

I wonder if Randy Johnson and Nolan Ryan had faced eachother. If they have, I wonder who won.

Gee I've never heard or seen Randy Johnson throw a curveball. He's thrown sliders, 2-seemers, 4-seemers, and splitters. Well it sure worked for him. He has won 300 games, second all-time in strikeouts, 5x Cy Young Award winner, 9x strikeouts champ, 4x ERA champ, 10x All-Star, DHL Hometown Hero of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and he has thrown two no-hitters in his career. As of 2009, Randy is still pitching. I guess he doesn't need to throw a curveball after all. But I wonder what would happen if he did throw a bender.

Five-time Cy Young Award winner, Randy Johnson has beaten every team atleast once. He is the first pitcher in the 300 wins club to do that. Did I mention that the "Big Unit" is also in the 3,000 strikeout club? He is second all-time in that department; most as a left-handed pitcher.

Randy Johnson, ever since I saw the all-time wins list, I saw that you were five wins awy from 300 as of 2008. I was hoping that you reach that mark in the beginning of this season (2009), which you did. I m happy 4 u.
