Roger Clemens

During this amazing career in the era of the long ball and only pitching in the toughest league in the history of baseball, the AL east, I believe him to be the greatest pitcher of all time. Some people may think that steroids or similar have something to do with it. I think no matter what may have been taken, it cannot give you the desire and talent to throw the right pitch at the right time. See his statistics through the link. ( Edited by webdesign)

Finally deciding the 3rd best pitcher of all-time, I still had a hard time deciding who the 4th best pitcher of all-time would be. Sandy Koufax beat Randy Johnson for third greatest pitcher of all-time in my list, but Randy had another opponent for fourth all-time. It was Roger Clemens whom he faced. I compared their statistics. Clemens had the more rings (2), Cy Young Awards (7), ERA Titles (7), the more wins (354)and the more 3ple Crowns (2), but Randy had thrown the more no-hitters (2), strikeout titles (9), fanned the more batters (4864; as of June 25, 2009), and has beaten the more teams (all of them atleast once). Through Clemens career, he has had more wins and a better ERA than Randy Johnson. So as of 6-28-09, Clemens is the 4th greatest pitcher in my list.
