Seattle Slew (February 15, 1974 – May 7, 2002) was an American thoroughbred race horse who won the United States Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing in 1977, the tenth of eleven horses to accomplish the feat. He remains the only horse to win the Triple Crown while undefeated. In the Blood-Horse magazine List of Top 100 Racehorses of the 20th Century, Seattle Slew is ranked ninth. ( Edited by plmiller)

Seattle Slew was a grand racehorse, the only undefeated racehorse to win the Triple Crown...the 1977 record still stands today His birthplace was Kentucky and that is where he was laid to rest. Seattle Slew has shown up again in racing, more recently, through his son, A P Indy, who was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2000 and is enjoying these years at stud.
