Every once in a while I find boxes of lead type. That would be fun as well. The same problem though: where do I put it?

It's sad to see a lot of this stuff go to the waste bin. I worked at a newspaper for years and they had droves of neat old stuff. I loved this old metal light table they had, but they wouldn't part with it. Such a different time--things were actually built to last.

I liberated a huge amount from work and love em. Tried to grab the photo-typesetter but that had unfortunately made it's way to the trash.

I've often thought about trying to collect these. I still remember going to the stationery store and seeing them as a teenager. Although I didn't have any need , I still wanted to buy them.
