Yeah, that's certainly odd. I'll take a look and see what's going on with this one. The ranking algorithm is actually pretty complex, and takes into account the number of votes for each item, what position those votes are in, when the votes were made, number of comments, etc...
I wonder how it works that the person with one choice outweighs the other 5 voters? Maybe you don't want to explain the algorithms or anything, but it seems like CNET and others should be higher, but i guess its a mix of rank + quantity of those ranks? so the more #1's instead of just the most votes?
