Shiny is pretty, but not so much after it's been dropped on concrete a few times. I hate having to use a case as even the thinnest ones add a lot of bulk. ( Edited by shelkie)

I like the shiny finish too, and occasionally take mine out of its rubber case to admire it. Just wish it wasn't so easy to drop.

Drop ANYTHING on concrete and it won't look so good after a while;) I actually like that the iPhone doesn't look like a MacBook Pro, or an older Powerbook. It COULD look more like the iPod Touch.. slimmer and shiny metal back. Nice.
