I recently purchased a MacBook after many years on a PC. While I'm in love with the form factor, I have to say that it's not nearly as "different" as I was led to believe. I still like it, but it certainly isn't perfect. ( Edited by karj )

As Apple gains power, they continually seem to work to make things more proprietary. I don't care whether it's Apple or Microsoft, I don't want one company being a bully and limiting user options. http://www.affordablelocksmith.com
No question, these are gorgeous machines. As a designer, I really appreciate that; nevertheless, Apple really takes advantage of the consumer on the bulk of their hardware. The parts aren't all that different, and if you price it out, it seems a little like extortion.
Apple stickers are all over the place on cars, especially those who have them because of their IPods when they don't use a mac. Posers!!
I bought a macbook, then 2 weeks later they came out with a better one, same price. ugh!
People think I'm crazy for harping on this one, but once you've had an Exchange Server, it's hard to imagine living without one. Apple seems to know this, and is rumored to be making their own solution, but I expect it to still be years away.

Everyone told me it was rock solid. Now, it's good, but not much different than my PC at work running XP. Although my Mac doesn't have the "blue screen of death", the somewhat more elegant "restart your machine" message isn't any less frustrating.

Well so far the best OS I've used is Mac. It's just great, at least much better than a Windows based.
The biggest issue with apple is the cost of everything the produce. The avg person cannot afford most of their products and upgrades.
I guess I would ask are any of the things listed here not also sucky about PCs, in some way or another?
