iPod "lock-out"

As Apple gains power, they continually seem to work to make things more proprietary. I don't care whether it's Apple or Microsoft, I don't want one company being a bully and limiting user options. ( Edited by karj)

Hummm, not sure why you think this. What options do you want? I can't think of any. Itunes now sells unprotected songs. You can rip any CD and put it on your iPod. Any company that sells songs in any of the 3 or 5 formats that work on an iPod you can buy and put on the iPod. I know more windows users with iPods then Macs
