We've been lucky with ours, I guess. Sure, the UI is not as slick as a Tivo, but the price is right.

omg this is the WORST DVR ever. We just replaced it with the Tivo HD XL, which is a much better system. Our Comcast DVR was a huge pain. It would randomly decide to go to the beginning or end of a show while fast forwarding commercials. It would also crash at times, and was always sluggish to respond.
