from the Speak Up--Stop Being Sheep geniuses. I have over the years found the site refreshing for its lack of UNhelpful negative feedback but full of applause (genuine at that) for what everyone or different folks feel is someone's hard-earned move to an entirely new and exceptional level in their work. It's not goofy or resistant to critique by any means. It is instead a very pleasant place to admire exceptional work; hear truly intelligent, thoughtful responses, exchanges, and debates -- *always* exciting to find a venue where you can read intelligent, well composed opinions on anything in the world of design (ok, a guilty pleasure when so many non-designers working in creative have shocked me many times when they are -shocked- to discover what many designers are actually about or are striving to achieve as well as they are able.) Intelligence and constant research and a demand that we recall too-recent and not-so-recent history with no exception, this is what occupies "free time" at home or at lunch or etc. for many. So, sites like this, and another with a different personality, Design Observer, wonderful retreats upon discovering some co-workers carry old notions, or were schooled to think them now; still unsettling that it
