1. Design Observer

Sometimes it's overly "heady", but I like how Michael Bierut, William Drenttel and Jessica Helfand have created a really solid community focused on good design criticism.

2. swissmiss

Tina Roth Eisenberg runs this lovely site. It's pure eye-candy, and well edited. It's one of those sites that often leaves me thinking "I wish I had that, and that, and that..."

3. Speak Up!

It seems to me that Speak UP and Design Observer have the most in common. Both exude a certain sophistication in their reporting. Armin's site is a must read for any designer.

4. Unbeige

Unbeige kind of blows me away. They just report on so many things, it's amazing that they can keep up. They're also lovely people, who continue to help us spread the word about posts on ideasonideas!

5. ideasonideas

What kind of a marketer would I be if I didn't at least mention my own blog. It's a labor of love, and I often think about stopping, but something about the subject matter keeps sucking me back in. The posts are long and I really try to make them as good as I can.

6. undrln

undrln isn't technically a blog. It's more like Digg or Reddit for people in advertising and design. We created it quickly from a self-serving perspective. I just wanted one place to start my daily industry reading from.
